It was first reported here on FilFilah, that Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe's latest video clip "Mish Adra Astana” (I Can’t Wait) crossed the line with many Chrisitian fans. In the video clip, many crosses were featured in the background and with such a racy video clip, it offended many believers. Wehbe always brings sexuality into her music clips and with that came the backlash from fans all across the Arab world. This time, it was mostly the Christian fans.
After our report on Wehbe's video clip, many Christian fans were furious and decided to do something about it. They contacted their local churches and made sure to ban the video from playing. They also made sure to let the producer, Yahya Sadih, know how they feel.
Sadih apoligized to all fans that were offended and even is willing to remove the scene from the clip. He goes on record to say that he didn't mean it to be like that and that it was not filmed in a church as many had believed before.
Wehbe on the other hand has yet to apologize for the scene and feels that there is no need to. Through her manager, she goes on to say that the apology would be unjustifiable since the video clip was made at the Lebanon University and not a church.
